Software Information Technology Architect

Required

Proficiency in the following languages and technologies:

• C, C++
• Networking
• Database access technologies (native, ODBC, etc.)

Working knowledge of other Software technologies such as:

• Linux
• Java
• .NET
• Qt
• Python

Nice to haves

Understanding of Postgres, QML and Yocto would be a plus.

Responsibilities



• Collaborate with the Chief Architect to ensure consistent shared application of technology, architecture, and design practices in the area of expertise
• Ensures consistency is maintained in the underlying product platform
• Supervises and coordinates technical aspects with the different team technical leads
• Performs and participates in design reviews to ensure that designs are reliable, consistent, and meet product requirements
• Identifies and leads the use of third party technology according to current industry trends and product business and quality objectives
• Assists and mentors other team members in complex problem resolution
• Mentors and trains other team members to ensure consistent and distributed knowledge of technology, design, and implementation practices
• Assists functional leads in producing realistic estimates of tasks to be performed

Base pay range

$120,000/yr – $170,000/yr
