Linux/DevOps Engineer

• Bachelor’s (Preferred)
• CI/CD: 1 year (Preferred)
• DevOps: 1 year (Preferred)
• Linux: 2 years (Preferred)
• Network engineering: 2 years (Preferred)

Requirements

• Secure Linux-based systems from cyber attacks, including physical
• Install and configure firmware on embedded hardware devices on custom Linux distributions (especially Ubuntu), Android devices, and microcontrollers (STM)
• Experience configuring network devices such as network switches and wireless radios
• Experience working with technicians, SysAdmins, and other DevOps Engineers to diagnose and fix issues found
• Experience with Windows and Linux, both from the GUI and command line
• Linux on x86 and ARM hardware experience
• Experience with Atlassian Suite of tools
• Script writing experience with automation and configuration tasks
• AWS or other cloud based services experience

Preferred Skills

• Familiar with CAN, RS232, and Ethernet
• Compile and tweak the Linux kernel
• VPN configuration
• Docker experience
• Experience deploying software to remote systems and embedded computers
• Linux diagnostic applications such as top, ps, df, wireshark experience
  

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 – $148,624.00 per year
